We should make some good artwork like wallpapers, stickers, CD covers, t-shirt printing files etc.
These files should be available to people for download.

We should also specify our policy on usage of this artwork by us and other people.

There is some artwork like logo and tshirt files and of course the wall papers included in the hamara distro.

We could distribute these under a CC type license?

Vik, Then we should start a portal for maintaining the artwork for Hamara.
Kind of similar to Gnome-look.org , kde-look.org .
But not limited to a particular Desktop Environment.
Here users should also be able to contribute there artwork to the portal.

Maybe we should use the forum to begin with? We could give a user rights to upload if they want to add design content.

Hosting another application is not a problem though - do you know what gnome-look.org is based on?

Vik, these webistes like gnome-look.org, kde-look.org etc are branches of http://opendesktop.org/. You can even have pages for distros like Debian has http://debian-art.org/. You can contact opendesktop.org and seek help in creating something like hamara-art.org. An alternative is to have something like this - http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/ but of course Cinnamon is a separate DE and we don't have one.

OK - we could host a version ourselves if we have sufficient artwork.

I would recommend the wiki for now - and if we get lot's of contributions there, we can think of a separate site.
